Shipping Carriers

Use reliable shipping carriers like UPS or FedEx to ensure the timely delivery of your packages. We recommend avoiding USPS due to a growing number of lost or damaged packages.

in person Drop-offs

Save money by scheduling in-person drop-offs and pick-ups ahead of time via our Studio Calendar. This way, you can ensure that our team is ready to receive your package and process it promptly.

Courier Services

Save time by using courier services. If you plan to use one, remember to schedule their arrival via our Studio Calendar with the "Courier" option selected. This way, we will know that the time is approximate.

FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
Create shoot request and approve proposal before shipping.
Check if your apparel has a proper size.
Include your Project ID* in the shipment.
Include multiples of the same item when delivering
non-reusable products (i.e. beauty items, beverages).
Add “signature required” option in your delivery.
Include a return label inside your package.
Use shipping insurance**, especially for valuable goods.
Provide us with a tracking number for your package.
*You get Project ID by email when the proposal is accepted.

**You can protect your products against loss or damage during shipping by purchasing insurance from the carrier directly or from third-party insurers such as Route, Shippo or Shipsurance. The decision to use shipping insurance depends on the value of the package and your willingness to risk completely losing a shipment.

Processing deliveries

HOW IT WORKS?
When your package arrives we need time to process it. This step is needed to confirm the total number of items delivered, the condition of the products, and make sure that everything aligns with the Proposal and that there are no extra questions.
WHEN DO WE PROCESS IT?
All deliveries (shipments & drop-offs), their contents and project affiliation, are processed twice a day: 11:00 – 11:30 AM / 2:30 – 3:00 PM. If your product is delivered after 3:00 PM, it will be processed on the next business day. Once product delivery is confirmed, the Shipment status in Squareshot Client Portal will be changed to “Delivered”.

WHAT ARE RETURN OPTIONS?
To return your products after the shoot, you can:

1. Schedule a pick-up from the Squareshot studio;
2. Send us a prepaid return label for your shipment;
3. Choose an option for Squareshot to donate these items.
HOW PRODUCT RETURN WORKS?
Product return can be requested within your project dashboard once one of these conditions are met:

1. Images were approved;
2. 7 calendar days have passed since the images were delivered and no edits were requested.

We retain products for 7 calendar days in case there's a need for a reshoot. If products have not been returned within 30 calendar days, they will be automatically donated with a prior notification.
WHO PAYS FOR RETURN SHIPPING?
The costs for return shipping are covered by the client. You can provide us with a pre-paid label or we will generate one for you and issue an invoice after products have been returned.

Trouble-shooting

MY TRACKING SAYS “DELIVERED”
Due to the nature of logistics providers, tracking numbers do not accurately reflect arrival of the items to the studio. Instead, we recommend to keep an eye out for a delivery confirmation email/update from Squareshot once the items have been processed.
THE PACKAGE WAS LOST
Squareshot is not responsible for lost products prior to receiving them into our studio or once they have left our studio. Such issues need to be addressed by contacting the logistics provider carrying out the delivery/return.
THE PACKAGE WAS DAMAGED
Squareshot is responsible for products damaged during the shoot and will issue a refund equal to the retail price of the product. Issues with damaged products during shipping have to be addressed with the logistics provider carrying out the delivery/return.
SHIPPED WITHOUT PRIOR REQUEST
We strongly advise against shipping items prior to accepting the proposal. Such items can be lost or misplaced, as there's no project to attach them to.

This can also increase item processing time even after the proposal has been accepted.
