New client portal: more control, better efficiency

Right off the bat, let's address the elephant in the room: what happened to the Heroshot order management system?

Our goal with Heroshot was to build software from scratch that would make the user experience quick, smooth, and reliable. In reality, it didn't meet those expectations. So, we pivoted and after months of development, we are excited to introduce a new portal that will give you more tools to effectively manage your shoots with us. The new client portal is built on existing reliable solutions but is highly adapted for the content production workflow.

What will change?

One of the most essential tools for the successful production of images is a shoot request. In the new update, it gets a functional redesign with new options added:

– image delivery speed (standard or rush)
– image specs (catered to Amazon, Shopify, marketplace, or custom solution)
– memberships (now you can choose a desired membership within the request)

Every step of the request will also be accompanied by helpful tips and resources

The existing project proposal structure has proven its efficacy and, thus, will be getting only a visual redesign for better readability.

Tracking your projects

To finish a shoot request, you'll be asked to create an account with Squareshot. Within the Squareshot portal, you will have a complete overview of all your request, projects, and their statuses in real time.

Note: All users registered before November 23 will be required to create a new account.

Once your request has been accepted, you will be notified about every status change within the Updates tab. The same updates will be also sent to your account email.

Managing billing, membership, and product returns

Billing, active membership, and return address can now be easily accessed within the account settings tab. Once the project has been completed, you will be able to make a return within your account by submitting a label, scheduling a pick-up, or requesting for Squareshot to take care of this process.

Squareshot client portal will also be directly integrated with a payment platform Stripe, which accepts all major Credit / Debit cards. Now, you will be able to pay for projects without leaving the portal.

Continuous updates

The nature of the new Squareshot client portal allows us to be more flexible and quick in our updates. We employ your feedback and half a decade of expertise in the industry to continuously evolve your experience with us. Since our launch in 2017, Squareshot order system has gone through multiple iterations and, without a doubt, this one will be the most efficient yet.
